YOU, 2015
Intervention to the public space with an artist book contained in a present box.
70 present boxes are dropped by chance in the public space in different areas of the City. Inside the box there’s a book called “You”, which has 30 pages containing a mix of Texts appropri- ations form different writers and philosophers connected to life experiences descriptions from different persons. Both of them following the same
topics like human will, love, destiny and time.
Who walks on the street, sees a present box without an owner and dares to take it home; activates the work. The intention of the piece comes alive when the box is taken by the peo- ple generating a set of small or big consequenc- es in the life of the “reader”.
Walk on the street. Found a present. Take it. Open it. Found a book that calls “YOU”. Read it. Use it.
